Default can i add dicus??

hi guys i have a large 90gal tank stocked with g,mais , angels, plecos, 1X parrot, and plattys and was wondering if - with this stock i could add discus,
i have read a little abiout them and realise they need good water ect,

so what do you think????

I don't think it would work. For one, they're really a schoaling fish, and one alone wouldn't be comfortable. For another, I think your other fish would outcompete the discus for food.

Also, discus prefer higher temps, and you want a very lightly stocked tank for them to keep the nitrates at zero.

I agree with Lotus. Maybe if you got rid of some of those fish, but with that stocklist i wouldn't chance it. It seems to be a more mixed bag stocklist where i'd only recommend a straight biotype type stocklist for a discus tank.

G'mai = Gouramai, cheers for that guys to be honest if i were to get any there would be 4-5 of them and i kind of was thinking about re-homing some of the others, but i shall leave it or now and save up for anouther tank- my misses will love that!!
