Default Oh no!

My marlboro discus has white stringy poop! Is this HTH I know it isn't water quality so it must be diet... he is fed bloodworms, brine shrimp, and flakes. What could cause this?

Could be anything from an upset tummy (yes they do get this) to internal parasites. If he's still eating and not dark, just watch and see.

some discus will sometimes "shed" some mucousy tummy lining and that will make the poop "white"

For now, try and slowly raise the temp to 90. For discus, this is an effective treatment, Also, feed garlic.

If it goes away, be happy! If not, then your fish is sick! Do not resort to medications until you know what the sickness is!

Like Luv says, raise temp and make sure to aerate heavily!
