|  Favorite Strain In the very incestual world of the discus there are many many different strains out there. I was just curious about a few things. 1) what is every ones favorite strain 2) favorite or particular breeder? |

| Re: Favorite Strain Probably would have to be the Red Spotted Green F-2 *and you can find the pic on http://www.macsdiscus.com. I have never bought a discus of a specialized breeder but if i decided to i would buy form macsdiscus, only go to the store not order it off the internet

| Re: Favorite Strain I love Gold Marlboros and Blue Heavens. Both types will be going in my new tank. As for a favorite breeder, I'd recommend www.GreatLakesDiscus.com. I haven't ordered from their yet but I will most definately do so. There strains are wonderful, prices excellent, and staff knowledgeable. I have talked to Cary, the owner, and am 100% confident with the hatchery.  smiley* |
