Post How do you tell if a discus is "stunted"?

I know it seems like a stupid Q ... but bear with me.

Are the fins stunted?
Or the head or something?

Or is the whole fish just "smaller" ? If so, wouldn't you just think it's a juvenile?

If they grow slow they are stunted. even massive daily waterchanges and lots of food won't grow a stunted discus.

If the eyes are large, it is stunted. There should be room to stick another eye between the real eye and the mouth, and the real eye should look fairly small in relation to the body.
