Default Identify this Cichlid?



Brother picked him up when we started the tank.. owner was unaware of the kind, but a gentleman approached him as he was walking out the door and said he was a 100 dollar fish. (got the same price as our others, around 22bucks) he doesn't recall exactly what kind.

Cichlid Gold my friend. 2 of my cichlids are at least a foot, and my pleco is a monster. My gold cichlid is only about 3-4 inches, as well as my ninja (one that hides) and the lil brown one.. if you view my pics you can see. Ones at work being repaired (my other large cichlid.) He seems to be doing 20x better than he was when I took him there. Hes been there for about a week. maybe within the next 2 weeks I can bring him back home and show him off a little.

It is a Malawi Hap, though looking quickly i'm not sure which. I'll have to look more in depth in a little bit. Picture is hugggggge btw lol. Chances are its not a $100 fish.

Second pictures the first is a Red Empress. Nice Gator.
