|  breeding i have a 180 gallon african cichlid community, which my fish are breeding in. iwould like to save some babies, because they end up getting eaten. my problem is i cant catch carrying females because the tank is too long and had troo many rocks. is they some sort of method i can use, like a trap or something? thanks. |

| Re: breeding hi there johnc, i have the same problem also but instead of rocks, i have plants. what i do is this.. i use two nets (or if you only have one, use your hand). What I basically do is sorta 'push' the fish into the awaiting net. usually works after a couple of trys. anybody else out there with a proven method? |
