| I have been changing the water 25% every two weeks. I have kept the water at 75 degrees. She seem to have gotten bigger. It's been almost 3 weeks and I think I see little tiny eggs in her belly. (i think) no gravid spot as if I knew what that looked like anyway. So what do you think. Only her and a catfish and an algea eater in a 10 gallon tank. |

| When she has a boxy look to her belly and looks like she is literally going to explode, she will be close. sometimes depending on the color variation of the sword, you wont see a definite gravid spot. move water changes to every week. keep temp at above 75F but below 82F. warmer temps speed this up. Feed a lotta good frozen, freezedried and vegetable based food two times a day. maybe 3, but not too much per feeding. Frozen-bloodworms Freeze dried- tubifex worms Vegi- frozen peas soaked in water for a min. romaine lettuce. zuccini. Sushi Nori. broccoli. those are all examples, you dont have to feed them all to it lol.
