| ![]() Yesterday, my dalmatian molly fish had about 40 babies. It was very exciting. The day we brought her home from the pet store, we stuck her in the medium-sized breeders box. That same night, while we were all asleep, she had her babies. We awoke to find them swimming happily in the bottom of the box. We feed them 5 to 7 small meals of powdered fish food a day with an oral syringe. It's very easy to feed them this way, because you can inject the food under the grate in the breeders box without taking out the grate or disturbing the mother. Baby guppies can also be fed this way. Baby bettas are too small to eat powdered food, so baby brine shrimp are the best. Hope my tips help! Good luck everyone! |

| You could probably do the same with Cichlid babies. Like I said, some types of fish, like Bettas, are too small to eat powdered food, but Cichlids would probably be fine.
