Post Ram eggs again!

My ram has layed eggs again for the 3rd time. Her second batch I removed from the tank within a day and placed them in a pail with a heater and air tube. They are now 7 days old! Anyone have tips or experience with artifically raising fry?

Wow your really lucky! Will you send me some? Hehe. ;D

Well did the 2nd batch hatch? If so just do with them the same as what you did with the 1st. They should be fine that way. Your fish are really loving you arn't they? ;D

The 2nd batch did hatch but I did not keep the mother with them this time and maybe that was a mistake. O well! Live and learn. They are doing ok I guess but they dont seem very active and many are dying.

Post Re: Ram eggs again!

As I was doing a water change last Saturday (August 4), I noticed the eggs hatched so I siphoned the fry into the 10G because it is right underneath the 90G. I also netted the female and put her into the 10G. So far so good.
