Post Betta's "head's down" dance

I want to try to breed my bettas, and I have been preparing them diligently, but every bit of literature I have read has told me that the female will do a "head's down dance" and I am supposed to recognize it when I see it.  Unfortunately i have no idea what they are talking about.  Can anyone give me a more detailed description of this action?
