Post Kribensis tank

Hi all,  I have a 29 gallon tank with a pair of kribensis.  They are just about to breed and I was woundering if it would be a good idea to let the algae grow for the fry to eat or get some kind of algea eater.  It is the green stuff and is in the form of little specks all over the tank.  You can only see it if you look close but I have noticed it building up kind of fast.  Thanks

it wouldnt hurt, they'll feed on the bacteria in the gravel also. i'd wait till the fry hatch out then consider buying an algae eater when you see what they are eating

What else should I do about the fry?  Do I need to start feeding them at any certain time(after how many days)?  It is also a planted tank so they can feed on the plants as well as the algea and the bacteria in the gravel.  Thanks!

Mine breed in a comunity and eat the bits the other fish don't. But if there's only kribs i'd use babybrineshrimp and chopped blooworms. Crushed flake is good too. Feed them 2-4times a day. Thats all i do and they grow big fast

The parents will do all the work for you if you provide the food.

Where can you buy baby brine shrimp?  I have only heard of them.  How do the parents provide the food for the fry?  Thanks!

You can buy brine dried brine shrimp eggs, place them in water with a little bit of aquarium salt in it, a light over it and magically you have baby brine shrimp.

Finally, my kribensis breed!  There are about 30-40 fry.  This is only the second time I have sucessfully breed fish.  I barely even count convicts cause there so easy to breed anyway.  I just had to share with everyone.
