Post Betta Breeding

I’m a first time breeder.  I have a few males I’ve had for years & I recently decided to try this whole thing out.

I was planning on trying to spawn next week.  My 2 females are in a community tank & have been eating like pigs.  Both were starting to look a bit pudgy in the middle, so I took a closer look at them.  They both have that white spot (I forgot the exact term.) on the bottom of their abdomens.

I was planning on being gone for the weekend.  Will this affect them in anyway that could harm their health and/or make things not work next weekend.

Thanks much.

Post Re: Betta Breeding

You should check out  http://www.bettasrus.com  it has a great section on betta breeding. You need to keep them feed really good so that the eggs will be okay and so the female will be okay also during breeding. Good luck. ;D
