|  I wanna breed stuff! Hi there i was wondering how u breed zebra Danios i think mine are scattering their eggs but then they are getting eaten by my corys! Also has long does it take for the fry to hatch? ;D

| Re: I wanna breed stuff! The best way to breed egglayers is to put the parents in a seperate breeding tank with lots of plants and things and a sponge filter (babies can't get sucked into that). After you see the parents spawn, remove them, and the eggs should hatch with a couple of days and you'll have some free-swimming fry.

| Re: I wanna breed stuff! Danios can be horrible egg eaters. Try putting them in a separate tank with marbles on the bottom. That way the eggs fall inbetween them where their parents can't get to them. Good luck! |
