| WOO HOO Baby Kribbies! *doing the happy dance around the room*
Wow.......I have baby kribs! After losing the trio in the lower tank to the heatwave I was despairing of ever having the pair in the upper tank breed.
Just had a good look into the ball of javamoss....there are BABIES in there! ley* ley* smiley*
and OMG its a large brood! Upward of 30 of them as far as I can tell~!!!!!!!!
Just had to share....
WOW

| she killed him Bloody Hell.....the female killed the male. He killed the last female that he spawned with..so he was no wimp.
10g is too small, no matter how well planted, caves, etc. Go with a 20g, or a 15 (same footprint). This is heartbreaking, although the littles are growing. She herds them around like little sheep. He USED to hover and guard the excursions.

| Re: WOO HOO Baby Kribbies! Not quitting,,,,,no way no how,......got me a small rack that is PERFECT for 15s or 20 longs. I WILL have bonded PARENTAL kribbies. It just might take a while.

| Re: WOO HOO Baby Kribbies! Mucho congrats luv. Sorry to hear about losing the male tho. Our littles are doing really well also. Growing like bad weeds, they are. Everything seems to be going well and all are behaving. It appears that we have lucked out and gotten a bonded pair on the first shot. Keep us posted on what happens.

| Re: WOO HOO Baby Kribbies! Thanks guys. As I said earlier a 10g is just too small unless you're wiliing to remove one of the parents.
Trpy-n-Eli I bet that's why yours are doing the pair thing, they have enough room.
Good thing there's a 110, 137 and 180 coming soon...everyone will get shifted to larger tanks and the little (under 30g) tanks will be for growing out fry.
remind me to get a python!
