Default what is brackish?

It may be a dumb question but what is brackish?

No question is a dumb question if you truely don't know the answer!

Brackish water basically means a mix between fresh and salt water. Fish that live in Brackish water live in the mouths of rivers that are mixing into the ocean so the water there has some sea water in it but also still have fresh water from the river!

Maybe someone else can give you more info on the subject, I did my best!

I totally had that question before I came here! I always thought it was brackish....like murky water or something!

thank you...i thought it meant so ething like a marsh or murky water too
only certain fish live in this type water though right?

ya its like a very small amount of salt in a tank its more fresh water then salt
