| I have had a Panda Cory for about 4 months now, and bought him a playmate yesterday! I knew they did better in groups, but he has livened up so much just since he has a buddy now. They swim up and down the tank walls together and are always pretty close to one another. I got a Julii Cory... So my main question is, if I get a tank with more bottom space and want to expand my Cory crew could I get one of each variety? (spotted, albino, green emerald, etc?) And would they breed with one another?

| no I don't think they would breed with each other. The chances are very, very, very low. Although albino corys are a albino variation of the bronze corydoras.

| Ive been doing some research on this and there are cases of hybridization between closely related types of cories. Hybridization seems to be something that are "in the know" regarding the catfish view as a downward course as it has occurred with other species of fish so that the original and wild types were impossible to find... everything is a hybrid.
