| Pics Got a new camera and am still learning how to use it. These were taken with the fish macro. I think they will turn out better when I get a tripod.

The camera is an Olympus SP-56OUZ. It has 3 different underwater macros and 18X digital zoom. I can read the news paper through my neighbors windows across the street. |

| Sweet. I have a Nikon Coolpix 4800 and it works pretty well. Except for the swordtails. Those fish are waaaaay too fast!

| I had asked this question in the POM forum. How do you get such great pictures? Are all of yours taken by underwater cameras?

| Bunker you have to take a lot of pictures. The better the camera the less pictures you have to take. But even with a good camera you might get one good shot out of ten pictures. It helps if your subject holds still, and even more if you can hold still. Digital cameras are pretty sensitive to movement. My camera has an image stabilization function but it only helps so much on close up shots. That's why I'm getting a tripod for it. |

| Yeah, people don't realize that you got that one great picture after taking 20 crappy shots! Tripods definitely help, although most of the time I am too lazy to get mine out. It also depends on the fish too, I've found it near impossible to get clear pics of fast movers like guppies. Luckily for me, my crays and shrimp don't move too fast!

| Nice pics!
That whip tail is something I've never really come across before...looks like a neat fish---very camouflaged against that piece of driftwood.
Speaking of driftwood---is it an absolute necessity for L114?

| Man I'm home all day. Gotta get some entertainment somehow.
No not at all BV.
These I just took useing the close up macro. There's 2 macros, close up, and super close up. I can't use the super cause it won;t allow you to use the flash, and well pics of plecos hiding in the dark requires a flash.
These are better than the last ones but I still think they will get better with a tripod.
and one of the new L254s
BV I'm still trying to get you a pic, he won't come out from behind the driftwood dish.
