|  Efficient cleaner I have two cories, and I like them, but they are really messy! They eat some of the stuff on the bottom, but spread bits of junk all over the gravel and into the water. What is the best cleaner for 30 gallons? Lots of shrimp? I want something that really keeps the ground tidy, because it is very difficult for me to do big water changes and cleaning because I have to run my water thru a filter and it takes half a day to get 2.5 gallons.

| The only thing that will keep the tank the way you will like it is you. No fish will do the job.

| I agree. No fish can replicate the job of a gravel vac. If you've got a large build up of gunk on the bottom you might be over feeding. And if your water quality (tap water) is an issue, I have seen some battery powered things that are supposed to suck debris into a small net without removing water. If your tap water is that bad for whatever reason, you might want to think about looking into an RO unit.

| Get 4 5 Gallon buckets. Keep them full ALWAYS. Then you have the water on hand when you need it. That or stick to 10G tanks. Water changes, large ones, are important to the health of your fish.
