| 1. Markings look like an L183, but the mouth looks more like a Hypancistrus. Maybe L373, L364, L370 or L323 if not the 183? (If I had to guess one, it'd be L373) |

| Bingo Jeff ya got it man. The plec is a 183, the mouth looks distorted because he is hanging on upside down wile I was holding the wood in my hand. And yes to question 2, for him to show that much odontodes on the caudual Pundical (sp) the portion of the tail between the caudual and dorsal fin makes me think he is a male. Females of some species can get them there too but typically it's the males that show this growth, even more so at such a small size, bout 3 inches. Far from being an adult.

| You are a cruel cruel person... taunting me with not one but TWO beautiful plecs. My current pleco wanted list: L014, L134, and of course L183. But now I'm really liking the 114.
You think if I stuff more plecs in my 90, they can just get over themselves and live peacefully?
