Default Aquatic Plants in nature pictures.

Our local club often takes trips in our home town to enjoy aquatic plants in nature, as well as all the animals that come with it

I hope you enjoy the pic's!

This guy was really cool.

I just may take you up on that offer next time I'm down south!

Last time I was collecting when I lived in Florida, I found 3 baby gaters in my net. I was terrified that I'd run into adults (was brackish water, was collecting seahorses with a friend). I let them out and vacated the water faster than I've ever gotten out before!

I loved to go canoeing early, right before dawn, and just listen and absorb the quiet and calmness as the sun rose. Your photos take me back. Thanks so much for sharing them and taking me back to a quieter time in my life.

Had two males during breeding season almost tip my canoe over in their fights once on the Hillsborough River. That same trip, a water moccacin landed on the front of my boat. Don't know who was more scared, me or him! Just fell out of the tree overhanging the water. I'm sure it intended to hit the water, and didn't expect this big 'log' floating by at that time.

Sounds like a photographer to me .... they are amazing! I was getting curious and wanting to know how I could go there ... until the last ones. Not sure I want to get that close to a "gator" How many rolls of film do you think the National Geographic dudes go through on a trip? I think I heard it was in the hundreds. Don't knock what you have - the pictures are great! Thanks for sharing
