It's sag, not blyxa. Blyxa will be bushier.
I have some dwarf sag in my 29g, and some of it is growing rather tall - tall enough to do what you'd like for it to do.

Great. thanks for confirming. Plants will arrive in two days. Unfortunately the 6700K bulbs will arrive in 6 days, so ill have to keep the plants under 10000Ks until then. The wattage will still be 4.8 wpg.

I'm thinking of starting with 4 hour daily amounts of light. should help to avoid some algae...

I thought it was Blyxa...since the Dwarf Sag I've seen is always a lime green and as I said almost looks like it will crunch if you put pressure on it's leaves[spongey is a better description?]. That plant looks like it'll fold up and die if you look at it wrong[Blyxa] and appears to have a Reddish Tinge which I didn't know Sag had.

I've been wrong before though and am no plant expert.
