Default Quick deficiency question

my L. Repens is growing rapidly but the leaves look sort of see-through near the stem on the new leaves. Also, algae-wise, the main algae that seems to be thriving in my tank is a gray-white thready kind of algae that is very strong but pulls off of the plant easily enough, yet some force still required. I also have some green dusty algae, but it seems to be going away.

I feel it to be a N deficiency, but what do you think?

On aquahobby.com's java fern page, it mentions that sometimes the plant will develop transparent spots in intense light. Same problem maybe?

N deficiency. The translucent leaves mean you don't have enough, while the green dust can come from low CO2 slowing nutrient uptake, low PO4 slowing N uptake, or simply not enough N.

sweet- lauraleellbp over on TPT thought it might be a K deficiency, but then changed her mind to K as well .

I am going to up my dosage to 20ppm NO3 and 2ppm PO4, bringing my K doing (due to KNO3) to almost 10 per day I believe, but I am going to dose some Seachem K as well anyways.

See through leaves is due to an iron deficiency as iron is used to make the chloroplasts which make the leaves colored. The iron in the flourite will not aborb into the water column and some plants require trace elemnts in the water column. Leaf zone worked for me when my swords got see through.
