I have finished my test on chemical algae cures !!
I cleaned all the algae out of the tank and used "algone" 5 days later green algae was all over the place algone dose not work..
I talked to the sales person and found most of the products they sell came back for refounds only one worked so I tryed it.
Again I cleaned all the algae out of the tank.I used "no more algae" 7 days later the algae is still gone there is some bad news "no more algae" = no more plants or invertibras. so any chemical strong enough will kill your plant after all algae is a plant. the thing is in a fair fight your plant will win against algae. but algae dose not fight fair!!!
given bad lightting or good lightting given too little or too much nutrence given dirty or clean water given cold or hot algae will do fine.!!
My plants need good lightting just the right nutrence clean water the right tempiture

well good lightting =65k or better for 10 to 12 hr.from lights less then 1 yr. old. not too much or too little but the right kind of light!!

well good nutrence =well regulated co2 + more water changes. after all algae is a sign of too much !!my plant food will depend on what plants i get.

well clean water= changging my filter every month that way water born algae is traped also going to get me a good cleannig crew!!UV is good also.
