I am going Saturday to pick up the tank and stand! I have been planning this day for months now. I am getting a Perfecto (Marineland) 75 Gallon tank with black trim, 48"X18"X21". I am getting the matching Perfecto stand in the black pine. both pieces are gonna run me 320.00

I am going to be running 2 Rena XP3's, Pressurized C02 with a Milwalkee 957ma regulator and a 5lb tank. A diy co2 inline reactor(rexgrigg). 2 Rena smart heaters 150W. 3.1WPG of lights. lunar lights. Aquariumplants.com substrate.

I am going to have this tank heavily planted with alot of schooling tetras, some rams, a few angels, and 2 denison barbs.

I will take some pics of the whole setup process. I will list the plants then too! I am extremely excited! as you already didn't know!

With all that CO2 and lighting, you'll also need to dose some ferts, or else you'll have a hell lot of algae.
Also, I think you should up on the barbs (I know they're expensive though ;w; ), because I bet they'd be happier.

I already have most of the plants now.. I did order some a few days ago and should have them by saturday..

here are some off the top of my head...

javamoss, javafern lace, java fern, amazon sword, mid sized sword, anubias nana, dwarf anubias nana, red tiger lotus, red tiger lily, assorted crypts, balanese and aponogeton. crinum calamistratum, dwarf hairgrass, micro sword, wisteria, red cambomba, red ludwigia, moneywort.. another red plant, water sprite.. it is alot.. like I said heavily planted!

as for ferts.. I will be using liquid ferts.. I just bought on ebay a 2 gallon container of seachem flourish excel. I also use the flourish root tabs. I have api leaf zone too. I use blackwater extract for the fish too.

I might end up with a total of 4 denison barbs.. my lfs store sells them 3 for 75.00, that is expensive.. I will have to wait until I check the water parameters and they are ok

Fish.. I am going to have alot of schooling fish...
I have 12 rummynose tetras
10 bloodfin tetras
8 cardinal tetras
10 white clouds
4 rasboras
2 clown loaches
2 marble colored loaches
2 gbr's
2 angels
2 cory cats
1 gold algae eater
and 4 denison barbs (I think) I already have 1

You should get some more cory cats though, they like to be in groups so aim for 6+.

Just my opinion, but I think lots of small schools make the tank look really cluttered. It looks better if you have one or two large schools instead of 4 small schools. Also, schooling fish look better for some reason when they are kept in odd numbers.

didn't know that about the schooling fish.. think I will keep the rummynose and the bloodfin tetras.. I might get some kerri tetras.. see my avatar.. about 15 of each. with the heavy filtration I will have on this tank.. it can handle the bioload

I went tonight to get the last few things I need. some airline parts, 2.5gal quarantine tank with 25w submersible heater. water conditioner, larger net ect. I am going tomorrow at 9am to pick up the tank and stand. I am getting the marineland perfecto 75gal tank and stand black trim.

ok.. big day so far... got the tank and stand up! everything is planted.. fish are in! I have to run out again the lfs.. and i will back on to post some pics! I have a few.. quite a few!
