Quick update:

Got home from a brief vacation to visit the in-laws and see how treatment was going. Everything in the tank looked pretty good (if a bit hungry -- they got fed this morning), and I noticed the yellow bristlenoses have laid eggs again -- this time in the new, smaller clay tube (I think the tighter fit gives them more confidence in their ability to defend their eggs). I'm prepared this time with the breeder net, so as soon as they become free swimmers, they'll get plopped in there.

Also noted that my new CO2 reactor and corkscrew vals arrived this morning from AquariumPlants.com (weird that they didn't send the order until about a week after I ordered it for overnight shipping, but given the vacation, the timing worked out perfectly).

I'll plant those tonight and maybe get some updated pics.

hey.. at least they shipped it overnight to make up for it.. most would just ship it standard shipping and make you wait another week!

nice on the pleco eggs.. hope it works out for you. I am realizing with a planted tank that I can't have alot of bottom feeders.. they like to uproot everything small.. ( hairgrass and glosso) btw.. heavily planted tank for those who will say that I can keep them.. lol

Well, got the new CO2 reactor installed (really like it, even though -- of course -- my old vortex reactor decided to start working today) and planted the corkscrew vals. I'd post pictures, but I could stand to do some algae scraping...
