Post new plants treatment

Hey....i'm buying some plants for my 30g....
i'm trying to get those looking really healthy ;D


but 2 days ago i bought elodea and this morning
i found a couple of lil' snails.... >

i have a red drop product (some like permang...potasium) ???
should i "clean" the new plants elsewhere before
with this product????

you're better off not doing it. i try and go all natural so there are no side effects to medicines etc. if you have a snail problem, try the glass jar method or buy a clown loach. whatever floats your boat.

yeah.. i'd skip the medications too.. it really isn't necessary.

and for the snails, as long as their not baby ram horns or baby apple snails, their pretty much harmless.  The snails won't harm the healthy leaves, but instead, help eat up the dead and decaying ones.

Pottasium Permanganate is an old remedy for cleaning and sterilising.
Make up a solution (using luke warm water)that you can still see through, place plants in container remove after 30 mins and rinse with luke warm water, you should now have plants that are snail free. 8)
