Post "carpet" plants for a 10 gal.

i have all the background i need and would be forever greatful if someone could give me some help on finding good carpet plants the will take incandescent lighting.

Personally I like lilaeopsis, but I don't think it can take that low of light. I suggest some java moss.

if u want carpet, try glossostigma. the only thing is to make sure you have enough light. ifyou don't, it'll start to grow upwards. if u do have enough light, it'll grow horizontally. you'll probably need co2.

glosso won't grow under incandescent.

like Cillana mentioned.. your best bet is java moss..

what background plants are you using that will grow under your existing light? &nbsp;is your tank getting natural sunlight as well?

I would also go with java moss, i have a 10g tank that is on the bottom shelf of my 55g tank stand and it is still growing without lights, its near a window but never gets direct sunlight. I think the incandecent lights should take care of it. Hope everything works out.
