I keep anabans as a staple in my 180. I found keeping ceratopteris thalictroides in the center of my tank getting all that light puts the gouramies at bay some . It grows like mad and they like to shread the baby plant off for nests . Also i found plantin things like rotala you have to spread it around . They may leave it alone some places and not others . Lastly kissing gouramies will never go in my tank for that and more reasons ( they are cool though). Oh by the way four leave clover must be the tastiest plant ever they say haha.
