This tank has got quite the history with it. The tank was set up close to 10 years ago. I don't remember it's original inhabitants, as all have passed since I first started the tank. This tank has gone through a marriage and a divorce with me. The most stable thing in my life for 7 years, more so than the marriage anyways.
I have fake plants in it to give the tank permanent hieght. I too have bulbs in the tank that grow with the nitrate level, but the fish also like to eat on it as it grows, so it never really gets too big. Slate is one of my favorite tanks decors, it looks natural in the tank and gives fish a great place to hide when built into a cave.
