I was thinking Africans due to my hard water. I am amazed at how well my Tetras do with the hard water here. I have tried not to dose the water with stuff because it makes the water chemistry bounce around and I think that is more stressful to the fish than the less than optimum water conditions.
If I do go with Africans, any suggestions? I have regular gravel on the bottom of the tank. I can move in some rock and other "caves" for them. And if I do, would it be wrong to put plants in the tank?
