[Worthless]

I am a 14 year old from Canada and I have loved fish ever since my parents bought a community fish tank. When we moved we had to give away our fish and I was devastated. A Fish that has really caught my eye is a Betta fish, I got my first one for my 8th birthday from my sister, A green Betta fish that I named "Chester" He lived for 5 years, he was a tough little bugger, he survived me going away for weeks on ends, He even survived when my cat decided to push his glass fish tank off my dresser. After having many Betta fish none like Chester and dieing quickly on me I decided to give up on fish for a while. Approximately 3 weeks ago I got hooked on fish again, I went out and bought a 10 gallon tank and fixed it all up for the future residents. At first I was going to try and Breed Betta fish but every pet store I went to discouraged it, I did not want to lose a bunch of baby fry either. So May 10th my father took me out get some fish for my aquarium. I picked 3 red platys (1 male, 2 female) and a Beautiful Betta fish! I was planning to buy some Tetra but my PH is too high right now. At the pet store I bought this Pirate skull Ornament and my Betta fish right away claimed it as his own. He will flare up and puff up at the platys when they go inside or go near his skull, he looks quite fantastic when he does this. Today after looking for an active fish keeper forum I stumbled across this one and did some reading before registering, Both my female platys are pregnant! One I noticed was pregnant right from the fish store and today I found a small black dot on my other female platys anal fin, This forum really helped me alot.

What are some other "small" tank mates for my Betta fish and my Platy
