right. i used the carbon and removed them after 3-4 hours. including the pad in the filter. i replaced the filter one for the peat moss.(a small amount) then i let the tank settle for 20 mins. then i put in the treatment. all my fish's attitudes changed. my clown loach came out for the first time ever during the day. i thought something was wrong. it was... they were darting round and gasping for air at the top... i remembered then that i had to increase airflow (as it says on the tub) i did it immediately. then they were swimming round happily outside their cave and the rest of the tank for hours. some of the other fish look a bit slow and dead but they are resting i think. (female cherry barb with fins just touching the bottom. it all looks ok now... ill see what happens in the morning.
oooh... ps. i noticed her fins have healed by half the slits. a dramatic improvement. =] i hope it continues to work =]
