It's easy to obtain a flush-mount switch like this one. It's not as easy to cut out the perfectly sized hole unless you have a Dremel or other rotary tool.

NOTICE THE SMALL JUMPER WIRE BETWEEN THE LIGHTS. I used a simple two-wire harness to be able to disconnect the hoods from each other.
The switch I chose turns a blue LED on when it's activated, so it matches the "theme".
