I think I drive by there every time I pick my wife up from work.
My go-to place in the city is
Old Town Aquarium, on Wells near North. It's a little expensive (everywhere in the city is), but they're good people. I also will occasionally drive up to Skokie to
Old Orchard Aquarium, which is a much bigger store but also quality.
I went out to
Living Sea once, and wasn't overly impressed given how far the drive was. I was looking for something specific that they didn't have, though, so I should probably give it another shot.
There's also
Aquatic World on Belmont, but it's a very small store.
