I thought you might be interested in an old method of fishless cycling I used to use (nearly 30 years ago),the thing you must remeber is that my mother caught me doing this.
Take jam jar in left hand,urinate into jar,pour about 1/8th of a pint into aquarium,tank ready for use in about two weeks. 8)
