Today I have been doing some research for this tank and was determined to find some creeks that weren't "trout approved" waters. I picked up a local paper map and a couple online maps of the area and I have found a few places way off the beaten path where I will be able to collect prior to the start of trout season.

Early next week I should have my container that I will be using to take pictures of minnows in order to ID them. Once I get this I should be able to go out and begin trying to collect some fish for my tank. I will probably get a crayfish for my tank next week as well.

The tank should cycle pretty quick because I had the filter cartridge in my other tank that is established.
