Get a medicine dropper of some kind and just add a few drops then let it sit for 15 minutes and test your water for ammonia. It really doesn't take much ammonia at all for this and what you want to do is get the ammonia up to 5ppm. Then check it in a few days and add more ammonia if needed to get your level back up to 5ppm. Keep doing this and keep your ammonia up till it will disappear in 24 hours and your nitrites are 0 and nitrates are up around 5 and your cycle should be done. Missfishy has a great link in her signature describing all of this probably better then I have here so you can check that out.

Also I just want to mention that some changes are coming to my tank tonight so be sure to check back for picture updates! There are going to be some plants changed around, some trimmed up and maybe a new plant or two if something catches my eye at the LFS today.
