Its facinating, I never looked at local fauna as nativefish.org represent. Its funny because i'm seen many of the locals as cichlids lol which they exibit the signs of which, similar body types, beatiful coloration, aggresiveness. Makes sence to me.... I was suprised at the sheer amount of various bottom dwellers ohio is a home too, many of them similar to brackish gobies! And the catfish, gotta love them. It really puts it into perspective for me because when i thought about it, there really isnt that much that the fish industry is doing in the way of conservation on a global scale. I mean some things are done for a few select species. But my god, the volume of species here is just astounding! People really need to take a closer look at their own ecosystems. Oh and catfishmike, i understand your prespective on taking from the natural environment.

Thanks!
