Shubunkins, hehe, neat name. Anyway, I am in Ohio and when we get moved I want to set up a little pond and I was also wondering about bringing them in. I have read that they do fine outdoors in the winter time. Of course my next question is whether or not to thaw the ice. One place I read said to thaw it and keep a heater in and the other place said that the ice helps keep the pond insulated. I will be using one of those pop up ponds so I can use a heater in there if I need to. Anyway, thanks for sharing and if you could answer those questions I would appreciate it too. Fish, I wouldn't think you would need to bring yours in.
