Hey everyone,
I might be entering my tank into the aquariumplantcentral.com contest and you can get extra points if you enter in a journal so i guess i'll start my journal here and maybe link it to my contest entry. Dont know if they will let you but if they can't i'll just copy and paste this

. Anyways i'm gonna be entering my tank into the begginers section cause i realy dont think i'm up to the challenge yet to face other better tanks that'll be entered into the normal contest. This way the judges can give me some ideas i can work on and probably enter next year

, who knows. Anyways i'm gonna start off with pics from the first few weeks and move on and explain things i added and did to the tank. I've done a lot of updating and changing around so dont worry, i have lots to share even if i didnt keep a written record i remember 80% of the things i've done cause its been a slow summer and haven't done much but mess with the tank

I began the tank and collected plants from my 40g tank and went to Petsmart and got some water sprite and dwarf hairgrass. I was thinking about using the dwarf hairgrass as a carpet plant and just using the Water sprite to get me started out. I also picked up the amazon sword and spent $20 at petsmart that day

(i remember it cause my mom was mad at me for spending so much on plants lol). And i also moved the co2 ladder i had on the 40g over to the 20g cause it was way more effective and i wanted to make the 40g fish only.
