Sad to say, it doesn't come with an underwater housing, for us aqua-types. And a built-in LI battery, also a bit difficult to swallow. Nice and sleek, however. Regardless, I can't wait to try one out (needless to say).

Cheers!

Not saying it's a bad thing at all. I really like these types, well at least the look of them, not had a chance to use one yet. I'm just going to hold out till I can get one in really good quality (at least close to HD) around this size without totally breaking the bank. I can hardly keep a cell phone from breaking for more than 12 months due to it's size, I'm not going to shell out 1k just to shove it in my pocket and break it lol. $200? Sure why not. I've just never been a fan of the whole 'camcorder' form factor. But thank goodness we've left the VHS days!

Well, it's in the mail so I might as well try it out and see. My friend has a HD video on his digital camera and the quality is supposely pretty amazing. Now if this had HD on it...

VGA quality doesn't blow me away, but this is still pretty neat. I was at a Big Box store this weekend and saw and saw a really neat Sony video camera based on solid state storage for only $125. It looked maybe twice as thick as this one, but about the same width and height. Both are still really cool.

With more and more electronic recording devices going to storage media like Flash, the price seems to be dropping, presumable due to the lower cost of production and less moving parts. We don't own any type of video capture device so I'll probably pick something similar along these lines before too long. Don't forget to let us know how the new camera works out!
