Yesterday I got a call from a number I didn’t recognize. I usually don’t pick up but I did this time and the person started with “you’ve won….” and i was about to hang up until i heard her say “burritos!”. I was intrigued. So it turns out earlier in the week, I put my business card into their weekly drawing for free burritos and I won! 10 free chipotle burritos. So I’ll be there for lunch today..and dinner tonight…and lunch tomorrow, and dinner tomorrow and lunch….

I’ve always just thrown my business card into any contest I can find. So far I’m a two-time winner. A few years ago, I won a Baja Fresh Party Package and that was enough food to feed a family for a few days. So ever since then, everytime I see a contest like that, I just toss in my card. I know that if I don’t win, my card just get discarded so I found a place that gives me free business cards. You just have to pay for shipping which is like $4.95 for 250 business cards which comes out to 1 cent per business card.

I thought I would post this incase anyone was interested in a $500 Gift Certificate to Petsmart.

We don’t eat the same thing everyday otherwise it would get really boring and depending on what we were eating, it would be really bad if we happened to be eating fast food everyday. But how about our fishes? How many of us are guilty of feeding them the same food over and over again…every single day?

I feed my fish mostly flake food for most of the week and once or twice a week, I’ll add a frozen cube of mysis shrimp for them. In my opinion, mysis shrimp is a bit more healthier and nutritional for them than brine shrimp (unless it’s live brine shrimp). I’ve tried buying live brine shrimp from my LFS but eventually it got a bit messy because you need to keep them in the fridge and it got a bit too much work. So frozen cubes work for me. They also get a treat here and there when I feed my anemone shrimp. So I think overall I give them a good variety of diet.
