some people contacted me regarding the c02 diffuser i used on my 29 gallon tank. It was an authentic Amano c02 Diffuser but you can find them for less that do pretty much the same thing. How it works is that you determine the amount of c02 going into your tank by the bubble count. This is just a really fancy way to count bubbles as the bubble will twirl upwards before going into the tank. It’s actually pretty cool. reminds me of watching the jaw-breaker roll around and around before i can get it from those candy stands.

Bubble counter is indispensable with any Co2 setup because it helps to estimate the amount of Co2 injected. Therefore, it is crucial to maintain the correct Co2 levels. Excess Co2 levels will lead to a sudden drop in pH level & cause severe stress to your fish. On the contrary, underdose of Co2 will affect the growth of your plants.

When Rhinox counter is setup, the bubbles will roll upwards along the coil. When they eventually escapes from the coil, you can count the number of bubbles per second to estimate on the Co2 injection rate.

I was just browsing around on eBay and saw something that was really unique and something I always wanted (ever since seeing them at this Japanese restaurant in Vegas). JellyFish Tank!!

What are Moon Jelly Fish Tanks?
Jellyfish are a very specialized species that requires a dedicated tank and a very experience hobbyist to keep them. Most of the time you see them in circular tanks as corners of fish tanks can cause them damage or they can get stuck. There’s a special tank made for jelly fish called Kreisel Tanks. The water flow is introduced into the tank in what they called laminar flow which is a gentle flow that keeps the jellyfish in suspension instead of our normal powerheads where it could push them against the glass.Current bid on this eBay auction is $299 but with a few more days left it should unfortunately go higher. BioCube Setup Tips
To make your aquatic environment harmonious and beautiful, it is important that you do not overstock your aquarium. A general recommendation is to stock 3 to 4 small fish in a size 8 BioCube, four to six fish in a size 14 BioCube and five to eight small fish in a 29 BioCube. The amount of fish you keep in your BioCube also depends on your fishkeeping experience level. If you are new to the hobby, you may want to start by keeping one to two fish.

Once you are comfortable with controlling the environment levels, and your fish are healthy, you may wish to add one new fish at a time over the course of several weeks.

It is equally to chose fish, corals and invertebrates that are compatible with each other. Some fish are territorial and can be aggressive toward others. In a more compact environment, like the BioCube, aggressive fish may not be secluded enough and could attack others. Saltwater live corals can also act in a similar manner.

The best advice is determine the compatibility of all of the living inhabitants of your aquarum may come from an experienced sales person at your local pet store. Take the time to ask questions, and have the salesperson show you wich plants and animals are compatible so you can choose your favorites to create the ideal aquatic environment.

6.6 gallon is a bit small but from just the picture alone, it does look pretty well-built. Never heard of anyone doing this before (but I’ve seen the fish tank tables but never a frame). Anyways, auction ends in 9 hours at the time of this post and it’s also approximately $337.38.
